FOOD PANTRY SUNDAY
Marcellus UMC collects canned goods and monetary donations for the Durgee Food Pantry on the first Sunday of every month. There are envelopes in the pews for donations and bins for non-perishables at the entrance to the sanctuary. Donations are always needed and greatly appreciated.

Angel Tree Ministry
Once again, children of the Marcellus community and their families were gifted with the love you share through Christmas gifts – thanks be to God we have something to give. Praise be to God!
Volunteer in Mission (VIM)
The United Methodist Church has many ways to give Christians a chance to serve the Lord – including VIM trips.
United Women of Faith
The United Women of Faith have their own page on this site because of all they are and do for the Lord, but remember if you are in Marcellus village, be sure to visit the Gift and Thrift Shop in our church building. Gently used items of clothing (all ages) and household and gift items are available for your shopping pleasure at substantial savings to the household budget. Open: Tuesday and Thursday, 10am – 2pm, the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month, 10am-2pm. All proceeds go to missional purpose like sending children to camp or helping a family in the area with immediate needs. This is a great asset to the community. We are blessed by these women and you will be too. Come participate in volunteering or just shop!
We participate annually in the following:
Church World Service Crop Walk to alleviate hunger in the world and health kits distributed in catastrophic situations around the world.
UMCOR – The UMC Committee on Relief where help is given where help is needed.
Support for our local community: Girls Scouts use our facilities for their good works as does the American Red Cross for their blood drives.
